1.0 Rules and Regulations
- An Expert or Job Seeker can leave the platform at any time by requesting for an account delete.
- A Client or employer can leave the platform at any time by requesting for an account delete.
- SkillSoko offers connection between the Experts and Clients, and Job Seekers and Employer by giving out correspondence contacts with consent from both or any of the parties.
- Upon signup, the Expert or Job Seeker agrees that SkillSoko can share all the information listed on the Expert or Job Seeker Profile to potential customers, within or without the platform, for the sole reason of getting jobs or projects for possible hiring.
- Upon signup, a Client or Employer agrees that SkillSoko can share all the information on the Client or Employer profile, to the Expert or Job Seeker within or without the platform, for the sole reason of getting the right expert or Employee.
- An expert or Job Seeker can only have one profile, unless multi-skilled. Same with the Client and Employer.
- An expert or Job Seeker do not have control of the rating done by the clients or employer.
- Clients can list projects and consequently award the projects to Experts through the platform. If a client awards a project to an expert, he shows interest, which does not constitute a contract. An Employer can list available Job Vacancies, if the job seeker applies for the job, it does not constitute a job contract.
- Client and Expert, and Employer and Job Seeker, enter into a seperate work contract based on their terms. A connection at SkillSoko does not constitute a hiring acceptance offer nor a job contract.
- Any disputes arising between the Expert and Client or Job Seeker and Employer should be handled through an appointed arbitrator, within or outside SkillSoko. SkillSoko is not liable for any disputes that might happen between both parties
- SkillSoko does preliminary due deligence on Experts and Job Seekers through a simple verification process. However, it is the responsibility of the client or employer to do their own Know Your Expert/Employee (KYE) to verifiy their legitimacy.
- SkillSoko does due deligence to clients and employer to verify their authenticity. However its the responsibility of the Expert and Job Seeker to conduct their KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYE (Know Your Employer) to authenticate their legitimacy.
- Any liability not mentioned above, but accruing as a result of the Expert, Job Seeker, Client or Employer negligence and non performance of his or her obligation are not liable to SkillSoko and its parent company.
- SkillSoko liabilities are limited to within the delivery of its services. SkillSoko is not liable for any liability accrued beyond its digital assets and services.
- All the liabilities of SkillSoko will be absorbed by its parent company ADEA GROUP LIMITED.
